So, I've been kicking this desire around for months now. I want to do something where I talk about video games. I love video games. I've loved them since I was a kid. I love the spectacle of being an armed robot, a speeding hedgehog, a survivor of fantastical and horrifying events. I love what they represent. Simply put. I. Love. Video Games.
I've had this relic of a blog sitting around, not doing much. So, I decided to fire it up and do something related to video games. It seems every nerd with a computer
and a microphone is making video game videos. But, I don't see many people reviewing the games of yesteryear with a modern eye. It's always from a nostalgic perspective. So, I thought I'd try my hand at that. That's what I'm going to do. Take the games that I enjoyed as a kid (or just now found out existed) and see if what I thought was great when I was 12 holds up when I'm 28.
Will they? Well, when they come up, read on and find out. I'm going to do my best to avoid spending any decent amount of time on modern incarnations, but in some cases, it can't be helped. As is the case with the first game I plan to review...
